Great Expectations is Premium Fuel for Companionship
I’ll be clear, I’m not a mass-produced laid back dude, habitually satisfied by sitting at home solo instead of living it up with friends. I’d bet readers haven’t seen me talk much on great dating and relationships. Not a fan of the drama.
Datelessness is a fixable quality and entirely neglected in my family history. But, There’s no point avoiding it, I had no choice but to end a worthwhile fling which meant a lot for us but essentially would never last. So you might say it may have been a few years since I dated. I’m missing the dating with great expectations that came naturally before.
Being single is new and free. I know one thing, I won’t be reduced to stay in peacefully devowering Star Trek Enterprise on DVD. The primary reason for this spell of occasional dating lameness? My coworkers are stiffs, and there are fewer available women.
My go-getting golf friend, Tim, who has never had dating loneliness, told me he’s currently in a similar place. He signed up for Great Expectations Phoenix. I enjoy chatting up fun chicas who meet my values. Go figure, I bit the bullet and joined.
Here’s the deal, ya can’t complain by being alone when you haven’t tried to meet anyone. As my old basketball coach Jason Neelon snuck into conversation as his idea of encouragement, “You’ll never win a race you don’t run, son.”
So he was divorced 4 times. Regardles, he was right without being self-righteous. He always made us laugh. This amazing series of singles events in Dallas here might have done a number on the old man’s brain.
