Daily chores are a breeze and do not take much time at all. Contrary to what you may have read online or elsewhere, it is not necessary to spend hours a day preparing exotic meals for your sugar glider. They are thrilled with a piece of apple, a small dish of prepared pellets like ‘Glide-R-Chow’, and fresh water. It is not necessary to keep live bugs, or go out and catch insects for your sugar glider.

Keeping their cage clean is a simple chore done every other day or so to keep it clean and tidy. The most time spent with your sugar glider will actually just be having fun with them. Watching them play and mature, and snuggling up with them for a little nap or to watch a movie.

So you see, sugar gliders are time consuming in a fun and fantastic way, and even when they are with you it does not mean being ‘tied down’ to only paying attention to them directly. Their care requires very little time at all and is easy to do so in reality they don’t take much time at all to make them happy and give them a healthy environment.
